Saturday lunch with the chickens

After doing our marketing on Saturday, we decided to take a little drive down the Phippsburg peninsula to look for some lunch. Our first choice, Anna’s Waters Edge, was closed for the season. This is a typical waterside seafood place with picnic tables and a fabulous view. Oh well, we missed them this year. So we moved on to North Creek Farm, just a little way down the road past the Sebasco Harbor Resort. This is a small farm, store, art gallery, and cafe. You place your order inside after perusing the short menu board and then grab a table in the garden out back. The chickens roam about and keep you company while you wait for your sandwiches and soup. Lunch was de-lish! I got some pics of the scenery while we were waiting. Of particular note were the beautiful petunias, nasturtiums, and tomatoes. And get a load of those chipmunk cheeks!
